Having the opportunity to see different cultures, places, and things, he credits much of his success, especially in his ability to relate to all people and personalities.  Traveling due to various business needs and endeavors has made it possible to see several different destinations of interest. While playing at ETSU many different cities and colleges were visited with the highlight being a trip to Tokyo, Japan for an international good will game.    During the Fall of ‘89 in New York City, Loren pursued a successful modeling and acting venture while waiting on tables and bartending in the evenings and going to auditions in the mornings.   All was going well for Loren in this exciting pursuit.  Things were going well working with Pizza Hut, Coors, and Mountain Dew producers and about 3 weeks from a shot on the Cosby Show as “Theo‘s southern friend…..”   After his girlfriend from home, Mississippi Wallace, finally got to a point where she gave up on the long distance relationship and Loren not taking “No” for an answer, caught the next plane out and spent the week reclaiming his love.
